Job Description

DayTwo is the first company to safely and sustainably balance blood sugar, lower A1C, and reduce weight using food as medicine and leveraging the profile of a patient’s gut-microbiome, without the use of medications or surgery. Our data science and digital tools combined with our clinical expertise are shifting the diabetes treatment paradigm from management to remission.
As a Provider Relations Coordinator, you will be working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration. The Provider Relations Coordinator serves as the ambassador on behalf of our members. We are looking for a dedicated Provider Relations Coordinator to join our team to support our employer and operations team. The Provider Relations Coordinator will respond to all member and provider inquiries delivering top caliber service through multiple communication channels.

What you'll do

    • Ongoing, professional, and effective touchpoints with all active providers in DayTwo’s network
    • Serve as the main point of contact for providers and provide a high level of customer service
    • Build provider awareness of and engagement with DayTwo
    • Schedule education sessions for providers with DayTwo Chief Medical Officer to ensure understanding of DayTwo
    • Proactively making outbound calls to providers educating who we are, how we work, and why they should work with us -persuade participation-
    • Respond to the inbound provider communications (call, text, email, chat, fax, etc.) while adhering to designated protocols and service responses while providing exceptional customer service
    • Ensure problem resolution or smoothly transition to a higher-level advocate or manager when appropriate
    • Participate in process improvement activities by openly sharing thoughts, ideas, and constructive feedback to technical, and management
    • Recognizes the presence of provider issues that may require immediate clinical assessment or action, notifies clinical staff, and follow up/updates provider weekly until resolved
    • Other duties and projects as assigned

    • 2-3+ years of healthcare experience in a fast-paced, customer focused environment
    • Possess strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
    • Demonstrated ability to serve in a customer (provider) facing role and collaborative and relationship-driven style in building effective data transmissions between entities
    • Skills to multi-task and manage competing priorities can triage appropriately and can apply critical thinking to solve problems
    • Tech savvy and possess a capability to quickly learn new applications
    • Ability to maintain composure and compassion while addressing a high volume of competing tasks
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and open to collaborative environments
    • Motivated to learn, continually improve, and operate to one's fullest potential
    • Strong organizational skillsExcellent follow up and time management skills
    • Excellent listening and communication skills
    • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
    • Associates or Bachelor’s degree
