The Sales Operations Manager functions as a critical link between company strategy and execution of sales force productivity. Responsibilities include planning, reporting, quota setting, and sales forecast management, sales policy governance, and sales compensation design and implementation. The Sales Operations Manager partners with Sales Leadership for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization including designing, tracking, and communicating key metrics. The Sales Operations Manager fosters close working relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure the sales organization’s efficient operation and success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Managing the CRM application including ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users by providing prompt and complete resolution to technical challenges and business issues.
  • Designing, implementing, and managing sales forecasting, QBRs, territory planning, account reviews, and budgeting processes for the sales organization, establishing a high level of quality and accuracy.
  • Implementing thoughtful and innovative strategies and processes to increase revenue, reduce operational cost and improve internal stakeholder experience.
  • Managing the key systems that support the sales process and ensuring that systems accurately represent sales information and are effectively used by the sales team.
  • Owning the annual quota setting, compensation plan design, and payments are processed in a timely and accurate way.
  • Ensuring that systems accurately represent sales information and are effectively used by the sales team to process transactions and provide information about the status of the business.
  • Creating, maintaining, and enhancing workflows, functions, and configurations within the environment.
  • Providing insight into sales drivers through KPI reporting and data analytics to improve processes and scale operations.
  • Partnering with cross-functional team leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement. 
  • Ensuring that forecasting efforts are appropriately integrated with other planning processes within the company.
  • Collaborating with the Executive Team to plan for the growth of the company.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales operations management role 
  • Proven track record of effectively implementing, managing, and customizing solutions in and other software tools
  • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Results-oriented with strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives while meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees, from Executive level to employee base
  • Process-oriented, but flexible around business needs
  • Capacity to see and work both broadly and deeply within the organization
  • Must have a sense of urgency and excellent time management skills
  • NetSuite experience a plus
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and phone communication skills
