THE ROLE
We are looking for an Infrastructure Technical Product Manager to guide the development of our Cloud cost management tool. As a fast-growing Tech public company our cloud infrastructure is an important asset. Managing cloud costs in our unique situation is no easy feat, but that doesn't stop us from improving on the process. We are developing a tool that showcases costs and helps engineers, engineering managers, product managers, as well as the leadership and Business teams to be to make data driven decisions when prioritizing growth programs and worthwhile cost optimizations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

      • Work on a virtual team composed of cloud engineers, data engineers, software engineers, financial analysts, and Azure experts working to make our platform more performant, available, and cost-efficient each day.
      • You will work closely with Director of Infrastructure of the area.
      • Define the strategy of the product, manage product roadmap and backlog, plan, execute and control the project, manage partners expectations and project dependencies.
      • Own requirement gathering, success criterion and UAT (User-Acceptance-Testing) of the product
Besides the focus on the Cloud cost management tool you'll do:
    • Ad Hoc cost analysis to answer specific questions.
    • Build dashboards and reports.
    • Promote a mindset of cost awareness.
    • Participate in cost optimization initiatives acting as a cost optimization advocate and cost information facilitator.
    • Cloud spending forecast, budget definition and control.
    • Azure Reserved Instances management and acquisition.
    • Support contract negotiations.

WHO YOU ARE

    • You have at least 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
    • A professional with solid technical background on cloud infrastructure working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams towards goal achievement.
    • Experienced in working in large-scale organizations on a multinational level with a multicultural team.
    • Proficient in written and spoken English.
