Are you looking for an exciting and challenging position within a leading international aftermarket service solution company? Then you might be the right person for this job! Syncron is currently looking for a driven pre-salesperson to take on new challenges within our inventory solutions organization.

 

Syncron is a supplier of complete solutions for optimizing and managing global supply chains in the aftermarket sector. Syncron’s solution is developed for global companies in the manufacturing and distribution industries. Our customer base includes global leaders such as Volvo, Nissan, Daimler, Hitatchi, Kubota, CNHi and others. 
 

What you will do

As a solutions consultant, you will be a member of our DACH solutions team and part of Syncron’s sales organization. Your main focus will be to support the DACH sales executives with inventory management solution and project expertise, but international collaboration will also be expected occasionally. There is a very strong focus on value assessment and ability to convey this to prospects and customers through relevant use cases. You will also be a key person in the continuous development of our software application; Syncron Inventory.

 

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

  • Business analysis and solution design together with our customers
  • Perform demos, workshops and meetings with C-level executives, based on customer use cases
  • Responsible for managing replies on RFX requests
  • Independently perform Value Assessments and ROI estimations based on customer data
  • Providing input to product development as subject matter expert
  • Leading internal development work to build the inventory management practice

The position is preferably based out of our office in Munich, alternatively from a home office in Germany.

What you have done

  • More than 5 years’ work experience from relevant tasks which could be from a software company, management consulting or as system integrator. You can have your background in pre-sales, solution consulting or product management. However, experience from customer interactions in a professional services/consulting environment is essential.
  • Extensive skills and experience of inventory forecasting, optimization and order management, preferably with an aftermarket focus.
  • Technical proficiency with databases and/or SQL is meriting.
  • Experience from working with or preferably implementing Inventory/Supply Chain Management software.
  • Experience from supply chain in the manufacturing industry and preferably from spare parts management.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for working closely with customers in workshops to develop solutions that improve the customers’ businesses in the area of inventory management.
  • General skills within systems integration is meriting.
  • An analytical mindset and interest in problem solving. You should also be driven, flexible, professional, independent, customer focused and outgoing.
  • Previous experience from design and/or implementation of ERP systems or other applications is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both German and English, verbal and written.
