Position Summary:

Vivun Sales Engineers work in the field with Account Executives to close new business and drive top-line revenue growth at the company. The primary role of the Sales Engineer is to build trust and convey the value of the platform, eliminating all competition, leading to a closed-won deal.


The Vivun Sales Engineering team is in a unique position to establish an empathetic relationship with our buyers due to first-hand experience in the presales role. Our sales engineers will be selling to technology companies of all sizes, positioning the solution to other presales departments in a dynamic and collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the sales team, qualify the prospect to determine solution fit
  • Illustrate the value of Vivun’s platform as a must-have technology for presales departments within various technology companies
  • Create tailored product demonstrations and presentations to illustrate how Vivun can enable each prospects’ strategic objectives
  • Secure the solution win by differentiating against competition (including internal build) and drive stakeholder buy-in across presales, operations, product, and IT
  • Design, manage, and drive sales proof-of-concepts (POCs) from initiation to completion
  • Research and respond to product functionality and technical elements of RFxs 
  • Support sales and marketing events through presentations and product demonstrations
  • Collaborate with account management on handoffs to ensure consistent customer and internal expectations around goals, solution assumptions, and adoption approach
  • Leverage the Vivun product internally in order to record activity, capture product gaps, and collaborate with the R&D team to align the roadmap and improve product-market fit
  • Collaborate on internal initiatives to innovate and enhance our processes and content

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • The candidate must be familiar with the inner workings and common pain points of presales departments within technology companies
  • The candidate must be self-motivated, driven, and always focused on “doing the right thing” for the company
  • The candidate must have strong presentation skills and be capable of designing and performing an organized and persuasive product demonstration 
  • The candidate must be curious with a desire to learn and become an expert on Vivun’s platform and its underlying (AI) technology
  • The candidate must establish credibility, become a trusted advisor and convey how the Vivun platform can provide value for each prospect
  • The candidate must be comfortable with SaaS / Cloud business applications, familiarity is strongly preferred...Slack, JIRA, Zendesk are a plus
  • The candidate must be comfortable with integration concepts and process flows in SaaS technology ecosystems with the ability to convey benefits of improved “to-be” states
  • The candidate must have familiarity designing, creating, modifying, and collaborating on Docs, Sheets, and Slides in Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
  • The candidate must have an undergraduate degree from a top-tier college or university
  • The candidate must have past sales engineering (or equivalent title) experience 
  • The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant and current experience in a full-time customer-facing presale role (e.g. sales engineering)
