At Choco, we have the ambition to become one of the largest and most successful businesses of the next decade. Our mission is to reduce food waste on a global scale by redesigning the food industry's global value chain. The first step towards realising this mission is our food and supply ordering platform connecting restaurants with their suppliers and simplifying the way food is traded between them.

Founded in March 2018, we have raised some of the largest rounds in Europe at such an early stage and we are backed by top investors as well as startup leaders and entrepreneurs who have built companies such as Google, Facebook, Amazon, Uber, SoundCloud, DropBox, and Delivery Hero.

To realize our ambitious growth targets, we are building a new Inside Sales Department in Paris.

Your challenge will be to understand the best way to grow our Choco user base remotely, and establish efficient workflows that can be replicated and scaled. Your ultimate goal is to improve the life of thousands of restaurants, one chef at a time, and to scale a company with millions of potential users in a fast paced environment.


🥨 Your menu: Inside Sales 🥨

Building a new department from scratch: You will work with your manager to shape and grow the Inside Sales department then make it our main growth driver for years to come. You are going to establish new processes that drive efficiency and conversion.

Connect with future Choco users remotely: You will speak to chefs, bar managers, and restaurant owners then build personal relationships with them, while making sure to change their ordering habits from traditional methods to Choco.

Full ownership and accountability: You own your sales funnel from start to finish, fully accountable for the targets you and your manager set. Autonomy is the key!

Become a true team player: You’ll be working hand in hand with the entire operations teams across the globe and learn from these talented minds on a daily basis (Sales, Supplier Managers, Account Management, Customer Success and so on).

🍋 The ingredients you bring on the table 🍋

At least one internship in a fast paced environment (high growth startup, investment banking, consulting, restaurant and so on): You are very ambitious and want to grow fast, personally and professionally.

Strong interpersonal communication skills: You can easily bond with new people and then transport your empathy and humour over the phone. You are persuasive and persistent, but also don't take rejection personally. Instead you see them as an opportunity to learn!

Autonomy and structure: You are in the driver’s seat of your own success. Being part of a newly launched team will require strong organizational skills and a solution oriented, entrepreneurial mindset.

A strong sense of team: We all wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the team. Talent wins games, but teamwork wins championships. And this is the Champions League.

Be native or very fluent in French: As you'll be consistently talking to chefs or restaurant owners from France, speaking French very well is requested.
