Job Description

Healthcare in America is broken—help us fix it. Artemis Health’s tools and services help our customers unlock the power of their benefits data. We help them find fast data insights, get a holistic view, and take action to reduce wasteful spending and improve their benefits programs. We bring cutting-edge technology to the table to tackle the tough questions in healthcare. Because we believe everyone should have great healthcare they can afford.
We are passionate, talented people who truly believe in what we do. We treat our customers and our employees like the rockstars they are. We work hard at what we do because we know our efforts are making a difference in the lives of others. We take ownership of our efforts, and we’re transparent with both our customers and with other teams. And we’re constantly pushing to “level up” and be even better for the customers we serve. But it’s not just about work. We connect with the folks we work with, we laugh, and we celebrate our personal and professional accomplishments together. Because we like the people we work with.
Artemis Health is looking for a DevOps Engineer. You’ll be working with developers and the IT team to oversee code releases. You are either a Developer by trade or System Administrator who has a passion for scripting and coding and would like to move into the development side where you can improve the planning of test and deployment. You will do more than writing DevOps code as you will be the lead person to make sure any system downtime (i.e., WIFI, VPN, router, etc.) occurs to get back up and running. We're looking for people who want to make a mark on the world—who have the ambition to dream big and the talent that wants to help us fix healthcare.
Artemis is a young health tech company in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. We are well-funded, stable, and growing fast! Did you know you could get from the Salt Lake City airport to six world-class ski resorts in less than an hour? Or that hiking, rock climbing, biking, and other outdoor adventures are even closer?  Salt Lake City is known for friendly people, great schools, work/life balance, and a welcoming culture. We’re home to taco carts, a large LGBTQ community, outdoor concert series’, great professional sports teams (Go Jazz!), and a vibrant restaurant scene. Fun fact: Utah was home to the first electronic television transmission, and our tech tradition is alive and well with hundreds of innovative companies headquartered in Utah.

    • Implement, improve, and build out monitoring and alerting for infrastructure and applications to detect potential issues, debug problems when they arise, and identify areas for improvement.
    • Create or contribute to existing runbook
    • Participate in refinement meetings, sprint planning, daily stand up
    • Implement DevOps tooling and automation to support continual feedback and quick release processes while mitigating risk.
    • Support engineering teams with production and development environments, infrastructure design for new and changing services, and local development.
