The Senior Impact Manager leads major research projects for EVERFI, using quantitative research to help clients better understand their market and evaluate the impact of their programmes. In this capacity, the Senior Manager also oversees data collation demonstrating the impact of online courses in the UK and communicates the results and insights with clients in engaging and effective reports and other mediums. Additionally the Senior Manager leverages research outputs to support sales and marketing activities, and helps raise awareness and interest in EVERFI products, courses and brand with prospective clients.  

Responsibilities 

  • Create engaging impact reports and share insights with clients and prospects to communicate programme outcomes and, where relevant, help drive upsells and renewals
  • Complete projects deliverables according to project scope and ensure timely and on budget  delivery to clients.
  • Collect and analyze impact data to support sales and marketing activity.
  • Collect and analyze data on user and client satisfaction to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Identify, pursue, pitch for new work for the business for existing and prospective clients to contribute to and meet overall new business objectives.
  • Assist with the creation of impact measurement tools, and adapt existing tools to capture impact data from users of our online courses.
  • Assist with managing team budgets, and tracking progress of revenue against team goals.  
  • Develop, build, and maintain positive and strong relationships with key clients.
  • Conduct and contribute to quantitative and qualitative fieldwork including but not limited to surveys, online and face-to-face focus groups, interviews and workshops on a national and global basis.
  • Stay up to date on best practices for quantitative approaches and relevant ethics codes and legal requirements. 
  • Ensure that data protection and GDPR requirements are met for all client deliverables across the team .
  • Manage, develop and train team members to grow team impact and meet assigned goals.
  • Develop expertise in digital education and how to measure impact on knowledge,
  • attitudes, and behaviors.
  • Stay abreast of best practices latest relevant research trends, approaches, and findings;
  • and incorporate into research frameworks and team processes.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in evaluating and communicating impact of programmes, initiatives or similar outputs
  • Experience creating engaging and compelling reports, articles, proposals  for various audiences (e.g. infographics, summary reports, films and presentations) 
  • Experience using SPSS and other data analysis software
  • Experience developing and managing successful client relationships
  • Strong knowledge and understanding quantitative methodologies and approaches applied to research projects
  • Strong analytical skills  
  • Experience working with senior management  in the commercial sector, preferred
  • Experience conducting qualitative research, preferred (e.g. focus groups, workshops and interviews)
  • Excellent understanding of GDPR and data protection laws
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to to be hands-on as well as strategic in approach to work
  • Interest in the education field and social change initiatives
  • Knowledge of corporate responsibility and social purpose in business context
