The Scrum Master is responsible for resource planning, process improvement, and overall team metric tracking and reporting for our content & editorial team within product development.  The Scrum Master supports the project management teams throughout all phases of the product development process, balancing the art and science of agile project management. In this capacity, the Scrum Master assists with building a foundation for product excellence by backing product strategy with metrics, infrastructure, business processes, best practices, and reporting.


  • Support functional lead in resource forecasting and allocation on sprints and for regular operations
  • Improve resource utilization and increase efficiencies across a given focus area by closely collaborating with functional leads
  • Identify and apply efficiencies in project timelines
  • Monitor and share regular reports on key metrics with functional team
  • Create and triage tickets for functional tasks within builds
  • Incorporate best practices into, and maintain key process documentation for functional teams
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholder teams to ensure cross-project consistency
  • Improve and ensure adherence to product development process across given function
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 years of product operations or similar experience
  • Deep understanding of product operations
  • Ability to make data driven decisions
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills 
  • Experience with software project management tool preferred (Google Suite, Jira, and Tempo preferred)
