Job Description

Job Purpose

  • Grow traffic to & from social sources 
  • Grow social followings with special focus on Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest
  • Grow social impressions and engagement within social platforms
  • Grow social community
  • Work directly with L’Oreal brands to amplify priorities (ie: product launches) across and social platforms
  • Syndicate and content across social partners
  • Work on Beauty Magazine social promotion as needed
  • Stay ahead of changes in the social media landscape to be able to recommend and implement for clients


  • Collect all UGC and client owned assets for social
  • Gather social videos, photos, gifs and stories from events
  • Format social assets for Instagram, IG stories, Pinterest, Facebook and YouTube
    • Images
    • Graphics
    • Videos
    • GIFs
    • Live Videos
  • Ensure all images have info on influencer, products, colors, brands, etc. within the images
  • Ensure we have rights to use all images
  • Optimize image alt text for SEO and social

Scheduling Posts

  • Write social optimized captions, headlines, etc. to increase CTR according to best practices per platform
  • Manage social scheduling and posting across all platforms on Sprinklr (or other platform, to be provided)
  • Optimize social scheduling over time based on best times, etc.
  • Manage posting and responses to any LIVE social posts/sessions

Community Management

  • Work with client on UGC and permissions
  • Work with client on growing and managing influencer network
  • Engage with audience across all platforms
  • Respond to user DMs and comments
  • Manage with partners and client brands to track social collaboration


  • Report back to brands on social performance
  • Work with Audience Development Manager on Monthly and Quarterly scorecards
  • Use tools like RivalIQ to report on any social metrics as needed


  • Develop a deep understanding of brand POV and voice to reflect in social
  • May be asked to contribute some articles/content onsite for promotional purposes or NL
  • Serve as on-camera talent / face of the brands as needed


  • 3+ years of experience in social media
  • Beauty experience a plus; love of beauty a must
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to produce clean, witty, accurate social teases
  • Super organized with the ability to juggle many platforms and priorities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Ability to stay ahead of trends and adapt to a constantly changing digital landscape, especially emerging social tools and platforms
  • Sprinklr and RivalIQ experience a plus
