Job Description

ClearMotion builds products enabling a next-generation user experience in vehicles. The company’s proactive suspension and seating systems combine software and hardware to mitigate vehicle movement across uneven road surfaces. ClearMotion provides differentiated value for the automotive consumer of today and tomorrow. As transportation evolves to a connected, shared and eventually autonomous world, ClearMotion products will become vital to improving the in-vehicle experience.

The candidate

The ideal candidate has a well-rounded technical & business background, strong leadership experience, takes initiative and ownership and is able to lead teams through influence and motivation.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the first- and/or second-generation ClearMotion active suspension system
  • Build performance and cost targets based upon customer feedback
  • Establish Project budget based on performance and cost targets
  • Define product configuration and variant plan – Product and Feature Roadmap
  • Be organized and driven to achieve consensus + focus on execution of that consensus
  • Perform market research, VOC, benchmarking, Ride clinics, WTP studies, and in-depth analyses of competitive products, pricing and technology trends
  • Support Product workshop, collaboration, advanced partnership (internal & External (MOU))
  • Articulate business value for the product (e.g., business case including financial modelling)
  • Customer / Partner roadmap (when why who) Go-To-Market Pricing strategy
  • Shape ClearMotion's hardware and software pricing and go-to-market strategy
  • Deep dive into design decisions which drive customer benefit Translate complex technical concepts into simple offerings for the commercial team
  • Drive feature delivery timing via tight collaboration with engineering leadership
  • Develop life-cycle management initiatives
  • Lead special projects as opportunities arise
  • Support Product marketing and branding
  • Identify new products & opportunities and define MVP (Pre-feasibility)


Education & Experience

  • Location: US, EST time zone preferred; UK time zone acceptable
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering or science; MS or MBA is a plus
  • Cloud software full development lifecycle experience a strong plus
  • Automotive industry experience or equivalent
  • Chassis and/or vehicle dynamics experience are a strong plus
  • Prefer experience in a similar role (product management, planning, or strategy) managing software and/or hardware products

  • Highly organized with proven project management skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
