Today, we are a dynamic and growing company specialized in solar technologies and developing high tech low consuming devices.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Electrochromic Device Engineer specialized in electrochemical devices like batteries, energy-storage devices, electrochromic devices or solar cell devices to join our team in our new brand offices in Ecublens – Lausanne Area.

 

YOUR MISSION

  • Development of new electrochemical devices for new applications in H.Glass products
  • Optimization of electrochemical device architectures
  • Design of organic redox materials applied in the electrochemical devices
  • Design of dye/electrochromic materials with desired color/stability
  • Assess and screen materials under development and materials in the market according to the requirements of H. Glass products
  • Work with other R&D team members to develop prototypes
  • Assess key metrics in pilot-level and mass-produced products
  • Developing H.Glass intellectual property in areas of design and implementation through patent activity

YOUR PROFILE

  • M.Phil. or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science
  • Mastering electrochemistry procedure and mechanisms
  • Experience in electrochemical device fabrication and working principle, such as Li-ion battery, redox flow battery or electrochromic devices
  • Knowledge of structure-property-performance for organic electrochemical redox species
  • Experience in photoelectrochemical devices, dye-sensitized solar cells is also preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboration within the interdisciplinary team
  • Proficient English communication skills
