Team: DOS Engineering

Location: US Remote

What you will own:

You will lead a team of cloud engineers in designing, developing, and supporting products and services that provide an infrastructure platform that offers self-service connectivity, load balancing and security solutions for Catalyst Engineering teams
You will provide support for the network infrastructure platform owned by your team, including participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation
You will understand and contribute to designs and strategies for the broader organization and the infrastructure platform and services needed to support key initiatives
You will manage the performance of your team members, including helping them continually improve and addressing performance issues when they arise
You will perform people management functions such as conducting 1:1 interviews, hiring new team members, and approving expenses
You will establish and maintain a team culture including hard-work, humility, and cooperation

Important Technical Skills

Supporting infrastructure in an Azure or public cloud environment
Implementing and supporting high availability network and data center environments across different Azure regions
Proficient with the implementation of security measures within corporate and data center environments
Implementing, configuring and troubleshooting network hardware and traffic
Advanced Active Directory and Group Policy setup and administration
Providing advanced support and troubleshooting of all infrastructure to include Azure networks, VPNs, and firewalls.

Linux Administration (Red Hat, CentOS)
IPsec VPN setup and troubleshooting

Nice-to-Have Technical Skills:

Azure Networking Technologies: VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, VNet, security groups, Azure firewall, application gateway, etc.
Advanced networking knowledge: network peering, DNS, DHCP, WINS, NAT, RDP, VPN, etc.
Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced PowerShell Scripting, Azure CLI, Azure portal, Azure ARM templates and Azure Resource Manager
Windows Server technologies: (.NET, Azure Active Directory, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP)
Firewalls: (Cisco, Sophos, Azure), WAF, Load Balancers, routers, managed switches, etc.

Information Security and Compliance Responsibilities

Maintain compliance with training directives required by the organization pertaining to Information Security, Acceptable Use Policy and HIPAA Privacy and Security.
Adhere to and comply with the organizations Acceptable Use Policy.
Safeguard information system assets by identifying and reporting potential and actual security events to the organizations Security and Compliance Officers.
