Job Description

Troops sits between your back-office systems (Salesforce, Hubspot, Zendesk, Intercom, Jira, Outreach) and your messaging app (Slack or Teams) and we help accelerate the Go-to-Market motion for our customers by monitoring those systems and signalling your team when things happen that require action. World-class brands like Shopify, Square, Slack, Twilio, Snap, and Stripe to accelerate their GTM with Troops. 

With the acquisition of Slack, salesforce confirmed the vision of Troops and now we are seeing the acceleration of companies wanting to know what this is all about.

You Are:

  • Committed and coachable: You should always want to learn and get better. 
  • Passionate: This is an evangelical sale. There is no direct competitor but we compete for the overall sales stack budget. You’ll have a great product with a lot of customer stories demonstrating quantifiable value in your bag!
  • Geeking out on the art and science of sales, are conversant in 2-3 sales methodologies and have read a few sales books.
  • Excellent at running sales campaigns: We are selling a product that helps sales get better so we have to be a cut above.
  • Running at a fast pace: Your motor is faster than those around you, you want to be great and it’s obvious to everyone around you. You always take accountability.
  • Entrepreneurial: You find the idea of a large territory and being a respected voice in the company exciting.
  • A positive force in your companies.


Roles and Responsibilities --> You’ll do everything you’ve always done as a seasoned sales professional: 

  • Manage prospects from lead to close
  • Land and expand business with greenfield opportunities
  • Work well with our primary partner salesforce & Slack’s AEs (A network of salesforce AEs and SEs will differentiate you)



  • 5+ years of carrying a quota and at least 2 as an enterprise AE  
  • Previous SaaS and enterprise software experience
  • If you know people in the Salesforce ecosystem, that’s a bonus
