As a Biomedical Data Analyst at Healx you will be joining a cross-disciplinary team of highly-skilled computational biologists, biocurators, machine learning data scientists, engineers and pharmacologists who are passionate about meeting urgent unmet medical needs through AI-powered drug discovery. You will be enabling our analytical workflows by designing data models to represent scientific entities, ingesting data and provisioning data assets optimised for the latest AI technologies.

What you are doing now

You may be working as a Bioinformatician, Software Engineer or Data Manager in a biotech, pharmaceutical or research environment. The role at Healx will see you working with scientific users and ensuring the data they need is modelled correctly.

What you will be doing:

    Working with scientists in a positive, collaborative environment to understand data needs, evaluate data sources and develop suitable models
    Building production workflows to ingest and expose multiple structured and unstructured data sources
    Supporting Healx AI drug discovery efforts by ensuring data sources are consistent, up to date and available

Essential requirements:

    Commercial or service delivery experience in life sciences/pharmaceutical sector and working with biological data
    Experienced Python or JavaScript programmer, familiar with relational and/or NoSQL databases


    Previous experience of evaluating and introducing new technology
    Ability to mentor and guide other team members in an agile environment
    Exposure to graph data and related technology
