Job Description

Dremio is the Data Lake Engine company. Our mission is to reshape the world of analytics to deliver on the promise of data with a fundamentally new architecture, purpose-built for the exploding trend towards cloud data lake storage such as AWS S3 and Microsoft ADLS. And equally compelling is the market opportunity for Dremio, as we are well on our way to disrupting a $25BN+ market.

As a member of our Mid Market inside sales team, you will have a major impact on our future success by leading a team of mid market sales executives for one of the company’s most strategic functional groups. With collaboration and support from Sales, Product Management and the executive team, you will have an opportunity to influence significant revenue growth for Dremio. You will be empowered to recruit, build, and develop your team, as well as help define, develop and optimize our Inside Sales operating model and processes.

 

The Senior Manager, Inside Sales:

  • Builds and leads a team of Mid Market Account Executives with primary focus on achieving quarterly and annual sales quota targets.
  • Manage, recruit, develop and inspire a high-caliber sales team to manage end-to-end sales for Mid Market companies
  • Lead all operational aspects of their Inside Sales team to optimize sales productivity and overall customer satisfaction
  • Communicate clear goals and roles to team members and reward team efforts and accomplishments
  • Represent the Inside Sales organization within the global business
  • Reinforce and drive the Inside Sales charter, SLAs, and key performance indicators.

 

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a successful individual contributor (account executive)
  • 2+ years of experience leading an inside sales organization in a high-growth company is preferred
  • Strong self-awareness and an understanding and appreciation of different cultural and working environments
  • Prior experience in B2B, SaaS, and the high-tech industry. Data/Analytics preferred
  • Validated track record of consistently exceeding pipeline and revenue targets
  • Experience recruiting, developing, managing, and retaining an outstanding team
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of technology stack such as Salesforce and Outreach
  • Illustrated leadership by example: High integrity, positive, inspirational, self-aware, selfless
  • Excellent written, verbal / oral communication skills; must be an effective presenter
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Technology is a plus.
