Job Description

The Hardware-Operations Team is responsible for the inspiration, design, development, manufacturing and mass production of Sonos’ line of Hardware products. The team of approximately 375 is located in multiple locations (including Santa Barbara, Boston, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hilversum NL).  

What You’ll Do

  • Manage all administrative needs for Sr VP, Hardware Dev & Operations including:

    • Calendar management

    • Communications

    • Expenses

    • Travel including passports, visas & other necessary documentation

    • Onsite meeting planning and logistics

  • Provide support to the Leadership Team as needed

  • Communicate on behalf of the leader as requested

  • Occasionally travel to other offices to support large face-to-face meetings

  • Occasionally assist other senior executives whom the EA does not usually support

  • Maintain team communication channels such as email distribution lists and slack channels

  • Advance the collaboration across team leaders and their respective teams 

  • Partner with HR, Finance, and Chief of Staff to ensure clear communication and decision making across the team

What You’ll Need

  • Prior multi-year experience in an administrative support role supporting a Senior Executive with a large, global team

  • Successful track record with sensitive and confidential information and interactions; skillful at mediating transparency and privacy issues

  • Experience with a variety of administrative tools (HR, travel, finance); high familiarity with Google docs

  • High level of organization and attention to detail

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create presentation documents for Board of Directors and Senior Executive meeting
