As Vice President of Product you’ll lead the product function at Swift and participate as a member of the VP management team. In this role, you will work hands on to manage and grow our high-performance product team by setting the standards for product excellence.  You will also work with our leadership team to define and execute our product strategy and collaborate cross-functionally to define and improve product workflows. 

You will work with a growing team to push the state of the art in precision positioning technology, making high accuracy positioning ubiquitous and easy to use across a wide variety of applications in autonomous vehicles, mobile devices, robotics, IoT and industrial.

 

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Be an owner and be bold. Drive revenue growth and customer success through a clear product strategy and roadmap. Be accountable for all stages of the product lifecycle across the various teams.
  • Start with the customer. Empathize with our customers and be passionate about solving their problems. Maintain and expand a depth of experience analyzing, segmenting and building business cases for new market and product opportunities, driven by customer input and market data. 
  • Manage the team. Manage, develop and hire an expanding team of all-star cloud, SaaS and software product managers with technology experience. Set the bar for product excellence and relentlessly drive towards it.
  • Communicate. Clearly articulate the product strategy to all stakeholders within the organization. Drive alignment across all departments  and rally the organization behind the product vision.
  • Hands on. At Swift we believe delivery is 90% of success. Work cross-functionally to drive execution through the entire product lifecycle. Enable the teams to achieve successful deliverables in a timely manner.

 

Your Experience

  • Product Management. 10+ years full lifecycle product management experience,  focused on delivering technical software, service and/or embedded products at scale. Should have clear frameworks for analyzing market opportunity, product planning, launch and maintenance, with a strong hands-on nature. Experience with connected embedded systems and cloud services is a plus. 
  • Leadership. 5+ years of proven leadership experience managing and growing a strong product team and developing senior level product managers. 
  • Technical Chops. Comfortable working hands-on with complex technical products in data services and/or embedded systems. Computer science or engineering degree and/or work experience is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong communication, influence and cross-functional collaboration skills. Able to create clarity and drive focus in complex and dynamic contexts.
  • Strategy. Previous roles demonstrating strategic thinking and market analysis.
