About the Job

We are expanding rapidly and are looking for a Controller to work with our outsourced accounting team. You can work from anywhere.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in managing the month end close process including review of G/L entries, monthly account reconciliations and accounting for revenue, equity and international consolidations
• Account for equity and foreign currency investments
• Analyze complex accounting for revenue product flow and cryptocurrency accounts
• Account for stock compensation expense
• Advise staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions
• Perform cash flow forecasting and reporting
• Prepare financial reporting for board and investors
• Evaluate, implement, and deploy scalable financial systems and processes.
• Establish best practice accounting policies, procedures and controls

Qualifications:

We seek candidates who are passionate about cryptocurrency and have a strong desire to work in a dynamic startup environment. Successful candidates should have/be:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 7 – 10 years of experience preferably in the financial services industry
• Cryptocurrency experience a plus but not required
• CPA preferred
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Self-starter with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
• Strong excel skills
• Experience with NetSuite, Carta, and/or other similar systems
