Job Description

National Account Executive

Relay, one of the fastest growing and most highly decorated technology companies in the Philadelphia region, is looking for an experienced National Account Executive to join its fast-paced team. Our mission is to create more valuable and lasting customer relationships by changing the way that businesses communicate. And our success is marked by the millions of people who use the Relay messaging application every day to connect and communicate with leading businesses in the healthcare, financial services, insurance, cable and energy industries.

Job Responsibilities

This role focuses on driving new customer sales. Accordingly, you will be responsible for:

  • Meeting your sales quota and revenue goals
  • Showcasing excellent communications and negotiation skills
  • Facilitating the sales process from beginning to the end
  • Contributing to an increase in new customer sales
  • Learning and executing the Relay Sales Methodology for discovery and qualification of new business

Performance Expectations

  • Expected sales bookings of $1MM in the first 12 months
  • Accurate forecasting
  • Management of sales communications through email, conference calls, and in-person meetings

Relay’s Commitment to Your Success

  • We provide Business Development resources to generate qualified first meetings with new business prospects
  • We provide inbound lead generation efforts through webinars, online marketing, generation of whitepapers and participation at industry trade events
  • We provide marketing automation tools for lead scoring, account nurturing and account based marketing functions to increase pipelineWe expect National Account Executives to earn $250,000 for on target earnings with the ability to exceed OTE and earn accelerated commission rates when exceeding quota
  • We provide each customer with a Client Success Manager to oversee the onboarding, training and deployment of Relay’s solution (Our current renewal rate exceeds 94%)

Relevant Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience selling enterprise software solutions that requires consensus-building within a buyer’s organization
  • Familiarity with customer experience management solutions, customer journeys, and customer satisfaction survey technologies (Net Promoter Scores)
  • Sales experience selling to digital marketing and advertising agencies
  • Experience with longer sales cycles
  • Experience managing a sales territory with sole responsibility for all sales activities
  • Experience in healthcare or financial services industries is a plus
