Job Description

The HSE Data Quality Associate’s primary responsibility is to verify that HSE Auditors are following audit protocol, as well as provide information and support on protocol deviations to the QHSE & Audit Services Department.  The HSE Data Quality Associate works under the supervision of the Lead, QHSE Data Quality.  This position must be able to work independently and/or in a team environment, work well under pressure, be proactive, and handle multiple products simultaneously.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adherence to Avetta policies and procedures related to Data Quality Assurance in compliance with appropriate standards and guidelines.
  • Adherence to Data Quality Assurance methodologies and protocols to assure Product quality and reliability for Avetta Customers.
  • Perform and document data quality verifications of HSE audits using Salesforce and Analytics
  • Evaluate HSE audit deviations, investigations, corrective actions for the QHSE & Audit Services Team under direction of the Lead, QHSE Data Quality
  • Produce QHSE team data quality reports and metrics as directed.
  • Performs other assignments as directed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Potential candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:

  • 2-year or 4-year degree or Certification in Safety, Health, or Environmental from an accredited college or university with OR
  • At least 1-5 years of relevant work experience in the safety profession OR
  • 3-5 years of Contractor Prequalification Verification experience
  • Knowledge/experience with Environmental, O&G, OSHA, MSHA, Maritime regulations is a PLUS
  • Ability to create and present information/data analysis results that is informative and understandable, desired
  • Experience with technical writing, investigations, CAPA system, procedure development, QA operations system, and QC analysis, desired.
  • Proficiency in the use of various computer applications, including Access, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Web Conferencing Software (e.g. Zoom, Webex or Go To Meeting), and JIRA
