About the Role
The Data Operations team is responsible for the creation and management of data that is used by our analysts and engineers to deliver cutting edge applications to clients, via the Behavox Data Operating Platform. Our applications use advanced NLP and ML models and are applied to specific contexts that include jargon, misspellings and spoken language. As more customers around the world take advantage of the insights generated by our platform, it is necessary to create localised versions of these applications.
As a Senior Linguist, your mission will be to create and adapt applications into the French language. This requires more than just translation; you will need to apply your linguistic and cultural knowledge and collaborate with other linguists, subject matter experts, engineers and analysts. You will need to research and learn about specific risk scenarios that the applications are tuned to detect. You will need to understand how text and speech is processed into the Behavox platform to ensure applications are able to run effectively and efficiently.
You will be able to see how your work contributes to Behavox applications that are helping to make the corporate and financial world a safer and fairer place. If you enjoy working on challenging tasks and are ready to apply your linguistic and technical skills to cutting edge technologies, then come join us and become a part of our team!

About Our Process
We take Talent very seriously and we are building a community of extraordinary individuals working together in very high performing teams. We also know that the best Talent always has options so we believe that the process has to be a two way assessment - the company AND the candidate assessing the business needs alignment, the career next step alignment, and the cultural alignment.
During the process we will begin by exploring the core factors regarding salary and location along with core experience and skills and values alignment. We will then deep dive explore the critical technical competencies we have identified for the role, and then we will deep dive in behavioural competencies.
The most aligned candidate will then be asked to do a practical work task simulation activity so we can make sure that you will enjoy the kind of work the role requires, and this task will typically be presented and discussed with a group of colleagues and managers.
