Our Social Impact Partnerships team is focused on supporting nonprofit organizations to help them accelerate their real-world impact. We empower our partners with products, programs and resources to amplify the good they are doing. To date, over 45 million people globally have raised more than $3 billion for causes they care about through Facebook and Instagram tools. We're looking for a passionate marketer with proven experience in the social impact and online community building space to drive marketing strategy and world-class execution for our Social Impact Partnerships team. This role will be on our Community & Impact Partnerships Marketing team, serving as a strategic partner to the Social Impact Partnerships team. You will be responsible for the overall marketing strategy and execution for partner programs as well as for the marketing collateral needed to enable partner managers in their outreach at scale. This role will work cross-functionally to develop a deep understanding of partner needs, define the marketing strategy to help address their needs, and execute on plans to help the company build a better relationship with this important audience. Social Impact Partnerships Marketing Manager Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs and motivations of Social Impact partners (non-profit organizations and communities)
  • Develop and implement holistic marketing strategies and connective messaging for Social Impact Partner Marketing
  • Develop Social Impact Partnerships narrative and messaging strategies to ensure a cohesive global presence with regional relevancy
  • Develop marketing for key programs that help engage and build relationships with Social Impact partners
  • Develop Asset and Event marketing that enables Social Impact Partnerships team to do their work
  • Develop strategy for marketing to ecosystem partners and current Facebook partners who are not currently leveraging Social Impact products and programs today but may benefit from participating in the future
  • Drive full execution of all Social Impact Partnership marketing plans including events, video production, website and case study development, measurement, copy and design production
  • Work side by side with the Social Impact Partnerships team to understand their needs as a stakeholder and strategic thought partner
  • Effectively align various stakeholders and cross-functional teams to marketing strategies and plans
  • Work closely with colleagues on the Social Impact consumer brand and product marketing teams as well as other cross-functional teams to align proactive narratives, branding and marketing programs around the broader Facebook company mission and brand
  • Tackle complex and ambiguous problems with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Create recommendations and action plans for solving problems
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years experience in marketing and communicating to partners at scale and consumers
  • Experience problem solving and tackling problems
  • Experience developing content marketing for non-profit audiences (organizations and supporters)
  • Project management and cross-functional experience
  • Experience with marketing and business metrics and analytics
Preferred Qualifications
  • Global experience with social good products or audiences
  • Technology, B2B and/or start-up experience
