Curology is creating the next generation of skincare through customized treatment plans and formulas with powerful prescription ingredients for acne and anti-aging. We believe great skin shouldn’t be a luxury, but a fact of life.
As a Senior Copywriter - Product Specialty (contract), you’ll sit on both the copy and product teams. Most of your work will be for the product experience, but you’ll also spend a smaller portion of your time on marketing copy to understand the entire user flow. You understand creative and quantitative needs: how to brainstorm freely and loosely with the user in mind, as well as how to write copy that delivers strategic results. Our in-house creative team likes to push the envelope, and we’re looking for an experienced candidate who understands that the job requires more than just words — it combines strategy, vision, collaboration, and execution.
This is a 3 month FT contract-to-hire role, based on performance.

What You’ll Do

    • Write copy seen by millions of people: You’ll work collaboratively with our user research and design teams to create clear, delightful digital experiences that put our users’ needs first.
    • Shape testing strategy: You’ll drive messaging hypotheses for A/B testing, and work with the user research team and design teams to analyze and implement the results.
    • Work across channels: Though you have a specialty in product copy, you’ll flex the brand voice in all its forms—stepping in to help with marketing copy, landing pages, video, and packaging copy.
    • Be responsible for maintaining and checking brand voice consistency across your projects.
    • Help guide more junior creatives by providing excellent, thoughtful insight and feedback.
    • Contribute to brainstorming sessions across many projects, not only your own.

    • Collaborative: You’ll work side-by-side with our user research and design team, as well as with legal, medical, marketing, and more. You see feedback as an exciting opportunity to improve your ideas.
    • Experienced: You have 2+ years of experience crafting clear, on-brand copy for digital product experiences, including interaction flows, error messages, notifications, microcopy, tooltips.
