Roostify is looking for an experienced Senior Director - Pre Sales with a track record of success to join our team. We’re looking for someone passionate about engaging with prospects and customers as the key technical advisor and advocate to drive and manage the technology evaluation stages of the sales process. This role will be the primary customer-facing technical member of the Sales team but also cross functions with Engineering,Customer Success  and Marketing in addition to being responsible for the success of prospects’ technical evaluation and business value of Roostify.



  • Management of the pre-sales team in collaboration with sales and business development teams in order to enable the business to meet their revenue targets and formulate successful account engagement strategies
  • Experience with building strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with our customers’ technical staff and work closely during discovery phase, demos of products, technical presentations, and working on solutions to help the clients save time and money
  • Drive customer and partner meetings through sales calls, relationship building, solution selling and problem resolution
  • Provide guidance on complex technical issues utilizing in-depth knowledge of the company, products, industry and solutions
  • Ability to articulate product positioning and competitive differentiation to both business and technical users  to create long-term, on-going business relationships and set the stage for future opportunities
  • Provides strong leadership, develops and sets individual and team goals
  • Experience with responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Ability to travel 25-50%, (when Covid-19 allows)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills  



  • 8+ years experience as a pre-sales manager supporting enterprise software SaaS solutions, preferably in an early-stage startup
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience as a Sales Engineer
  • Domain expertise in the mortgage lending industry; Ability to dissect complex mortgage ecosystems, identify improvement opportunities and communicate business solutions
  • Deep knowledge of sales cycle and presales activities
  • Experience with Heroku, Amazon Web Services, and API-base solutions
  • Enterprise SaaS experience: application integration, BI, analytic applications
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles
