Job Description

Honeycomb is built to help engineering teams deeply explore and understand their own production systems — in real time. It's a service for the near future and present, where distributed systems are the new default, every service is a platform, and empowered generalist software engineers are the new ops. We are passionate about consumer-quality developer tools and excited to build a product that raises our industry's expectations of what our tools can do for us.
 
This role is focused on scaling pipeline growth for our enterprise business, and generating healthy self-serve revenue. This role owns Demand Gen, Marketing Ops, our website, and the inbound SDR team. Tapping into a wealth of technical content, thought leadership, and domain expertise, this role will architect our next-generation inbound pipeline engine, in strong partnership with the sales organization and with a data-driven, continuous optimization mindset.
 
This is a strategic, cross-functional, and high-impact role in a company leading a category-defining movement that transforms the way of delivering software and great user experiences. 

This role is a great fit for someone who:

    • Thrives by developing and leading a high performance Demand Gen & SDR team, owning the enterprise new pipeline number and the self-serve revenue number. 
    • Strategizes creatively re: how to drive more inbound leads through SEO, SEM, social and other programs, and manages the team’s execution through a continuous optimization mindset. We value experimentation and the ability to form clear hypotheses and the data needed to prove or disprove them is critical to identify high-impact focus areas.
    • Envisions and delivers, based on a proven track record, delightful, differentiated, and high-converting experiences using digital assets and our website.
    • Believes that Marketing Operations is a company differentiator and architects a fusion of martech, people, and processes to deliver the right experience, to the right user, at the right time to move leads closer to purchasing.
    • Builds strong relationships within Sales, Marketing, and other internal teams to bring our differentiators to life.
    • Values strong, clear, and open communication. We see clear, thoughtful, and regular communication (including a willingness to give and receive feedback) as a fundamental skill, not a nice-to-have.
    • Enjoys B2B SaaS and the unique art and science of marketing to technical users and buyers.
