As a Small Business Account Executive at Podium, Melbourne, you will make a major and unique impact on our growth in Australia. Armed with a suite of business-critical SaaS tools, your influence and decision-making will have a profound impact on how businesses operate within the region.

With an empathetic yet consultative approach, you will develop genuine relationships with prospects, consistently finding unique ways of surprising and delighting them. Your influence will make interactions so much simpler, empowering your customers to be as successful as possible.

What you’ll do:

  • Close new business deals through relationship-based selling, with a focus on SMB acquisition
  • Prospect for, generate, educate and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities
  • Provide prospects with solution-based product demonstrations, handling and overcoming any objections that arise
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue quotas
  • Collaborate effectively with the Sales Development and Customer Success team(s) to drive new business
  • Master the ability to evangelize the Podium story 

What you'll bring:

  • 2+ years' of B2B technical/SaaS full-cycle sales experience selling to small-medium sized businesses
  • Proven success prospecting into new markets, generating leads and closing new business deals
  • Experience carrying and over-achieving a revenue based sales quota 
  • A tenacious hunger to win business and close deals 
  • A Founders mentality; the ability to navigate and adapt to a fast paced start-up environment

Salary level: $70k-$80k base + super + uncapped commision ($140k-$160k OTE) + Benefits & Wellbeing allowance + Equity
