As an ASO Campaign Manager, you will help in driving, defining and executing Groupon’s strategy. You function as an internal evangelist across the company and will be responsible for technical and performance aspects. You will play a key role in doing optimization on a large scale, leveraging proprietary and 3rd party tools. This critical role is focused on achieving campaign KPIs and collaborates closely with the Brand, Paid and Analytics team to deliver best in class service and performance globally across all markets we are live in. You will be in charge of organic downloads as well as in-house app placements.

You’ll spend time on the following:

  • Developing App Store Optimization (ASO) strategies to ensure that all relevant apps appear at the top of the search results in all applicable App stores
  • Developing inhouse download placement strategy through A/B tests in order to maximize the customer experience and value.
  • Conduct a full analysis of campaign performance, optimizations, issues while providing daily breakdown to the management of ways to improve campaign performance
  • Help translate complex strategies and technologies into simpler concepts to increase awareness and understanding within digital advertising.
  • Optimizing conversion rates for app download pages by utilizing various content and visual tools
  • Monitoring and tracking app store rankings using the latest analytic tracking tools
  • Performing keyword research in multiple languages
  • Writing app descriptions, titles using researched keywords
  • Proofreading and editing reports

We’re excited about you, if you have:

  • 3+ year experience in ad operations, campaign management, or media-buying in ad tech, B2C or agency environment.
  • Experience with tools such as App Annie, Kochava, Sensor Tower
  • A strong understanding of Keyword research
  • A/B testing experience
  • Proven knowledge of mobile platforms and technologies
  • An excellent understanding of the different App stores and their processes
  • Previous experience in data analysis – providing and explaining performance reporting for digital campaigns
  • Extremely detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Tableau
  • Fluency in English
