We’re currently looking for an IT Manager to join our team in RTP, NC. The ideal candidate is ambitious, with a get-things-done approach and comfortable working in a challenging, fast-moving environment. This is our first full-time IT role. This role is for a hands on person, who wants to build systems and processes for a fast-growing, global company.

 

What you’ll do:   

  • Develop and implement IT policies and best practice guides for the organization
  • Administer company-wide systems and tooling, eg Slack, GSuite, et cetera
  • Assist departments with management of SaaS subscription administration and costs
  • Establish and oversee cost effective asset management practices for a global team
  • Collaborate with the security team on in-office network configuration
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
  • Analyze current process, technologies, and vendors to identify areas of improvement
  • Prepare cost benefits analysis reports when upgrades are necessary, continuously analyzing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for company needs

 

Who you are:

  • You have 5+ years experience in technical roles, including software development, reliability engineering, system administration, or similar
  • You have managed budgets for services under your control, including services offered in public cloud provider environments
  • You are a proven process builder with a history of designing and implementing improvements or new systems
  • You can understand, discuss, and manage deep technical issues to resolution
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to senior management
  • You have a disciplined approach to guiding continuous improvement across operational and development processes
  • You are a humble expert, who is confident in your field, but eager to learn
