Collibra is the recognised leader in the Governance space, we were the firsts and we continue evolving our product to help our customers develop data informed data citizens who understand, respect and protect the diversity of data.Our mission in the Governance product team is to provide a solid modeling foundation for Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud.

The Product Owner will assist managing the Operating Model product, from definition and planning through production, release and end of life. You will collaborate on a daily basis with engineering, quality assurance and design in an Agile environment.

Product Owners at Collibra are responsible for:

  • Defining product vision and strategy in alignment with the broader product vision.
  • Gaining deep technical understanding of your product.
  • Documenting requirements, prioritizing and managing dependencies of the daily work of your team.
  • Bring value adding product innovations to market.
  • Helping to set the right expectations with other products, cross engineering teams, UX, and other stakeholders.
  • Keeping yourself up to date with the market trends to evolve your product.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience as product owner, project manager, business analyst or product manager.
  • Experience in IT/software delivery.
  • Experience with data modelling and data mapping.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, product backlog management and story mapping.
  • Worked in a multicultural and diverse environment.

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you understand team dynamics and development patterns.
  • Within your third month, you will have a good understanding of your product and will own your backlog.
  • Within your sixth month, you will bring new ideas for improvements
