Job Description

WiredScore is looking for a Finance Associate who is driven, innovative and excited by the prospect of working in a high growth environment with the opportunity to help construct the architecture of the finance function. 

Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts. To be successful in this role, you should have a Finance or Accounting background and be familiar with bookkeeping.

Ultimately, you will work directly with the Finance Director and Finance Manager to ensure we process all financial transactions accurately and on time and assist with the preparation of financial management information, providing the data which drives strategy.


  • Manage obligations to suppliers, customers and third-party vendors
  • Process bank deposits and maintain regular cash reports
  • Reconcile financial statements, identify and address discrepancies
  • Weekly invoicing and BACS runs
  • Monitor aged receivables, contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments
  • Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
  • Update internal databases and spreadsheets
  • Coordinate with management and recommend improvement in quality of accounting and provide operational support


  • Proven work experience as an Assistant Financial Accountant / Financial Accounts Administrator or similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong analytical skills to handle large amounts of data
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)
  • Solid data entry skills and reconciliation skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Enthusiastic and commercially astute with a desire to find solutions to obstacles
  • (Part) qualified CIMA / ACCA and / or other relevant qualification
