GOAT Group is looking for a People Operations Coordinator who will provide a broad range of support related to the onboarding process and People Operations team. We are looking for a person who brings a high level of customer service and enthusiasm to our team, and also demonstrates an ability to keep up in a constantly changing and fast paced environment. The ideal person is someone who is extremely detail-oriented, enjoys taking on challenges, and wants a role that will continually evolve and expand as the company grows.
In this role you will:
- Liaise with IT, Workplace Experience, HRBP and Manager’s to ensure that new hires have a seamless onboarding experience from the moment they've accepted their offer.
- Schedule, prepare, and conduct weekly new hire orientation. Be the main point of contact for all new hires.
- Support new hire training sessions, manage onboarding documentation, I-9 verification, and inputting of new hires into the HR system(s).
- Manage electronic employee files with discretion and confidentiality to ensure compliance, accuracy, and data integrity.
- Provide a high level of customer service to all employees by answering questions in a timely manner. Escalate questions to the appropriate person as necessary.
- Support UltiPro (HR System) processes such as employee data changes, ad hoc reporting, data validation, system testing, etc.
- Evaluate current processes and implement improvements to streamline our onboarding experience.
- Assist with other day-to-day HR processes and employment verifications as needed.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.
We are looking for:
- A bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of prior HR or related experience preferred.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and passion for maintaining a high quality employee experience.
- Experience using MS Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and Google docs.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and thrive in a fast paced, demanding environment.
- Continuous desire to improve existing processes and develop creative solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
