About Finance
Finance at THG is a rapidly growing and evolving team, covering all areas of finance from central functions such as accounts receivable and payable, treasury, tax and internal audit, to specific commercial teams for each of our divisions; Beauty, Tech, Consumer, Health and Brands. The finance transformation team will:
Standardise and streamline process to reduce costs and enhance control;
Reduce manual intervention and leverage technology;
Improve operational service levels and drive business performance;
As a key member of the Finance Transformation team, the Finance Project Manager will play a key role in the delivery of the Finance Transformation Strategy providing project management and business analysis skills across a large finance transformation programme consisting of a large number of large systems projects. In addition, the Finance PM will be integral to the successful integration of finance systems into the group’s central finance functions projects resulting from the group’s ongoing aggressive M&A strategy.
The Finance PM will work closely with key stakeholders across the Finance, Tech and other operational teams across the business to support the delivery of the above strategic objective
Requirements:
Project manages large transformation projects across Finance
Gaining a full understanding of what the business wants to achieve;
Drawing up project plans, detailing timelines, identifying resources and budget requirements
Stakeholder management (Internal and external)
Overseeing the project and monitoring plans to ensure deadlines are met
Leading and managing testing of new functionality
Management of change including oversight and delivery of process and training documentation
Identifying risks and issues and ensuring these are flagged at the appropriate levels
Identification of risk and timeline mitigations
Qualifications:
Project Management Professional qualification (e.g. Prince II, Agile etc.)
Finance Qualification desirable but not essential
Experience:
Proven track record of successful project/ programme delivery in high volume relevant industry (e.g. FMCG, Ecommerce, financial services)
Finance Systems: Strong knowledge of finance management systems and technical ERP environments (SAP, Oracle, Sage), experience in implementing ERP cloud solutions (S4Hana, Oracle Cloud Financials, Sage);
Data Fluency in Finance – ability to evaluate and comprehend data and analytics reporting functions. Experience with BI platforms is valued but not essential
