About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for developing portfolio management and collection strategies, performing analysis to understand portfolio trends and identify early warning, creating and updating monthly performance reports, and designing and evaluating performance metrics for key initiatives. You will be working cross functionally with Risk, Operations and Product teams to improve existing strategies and develop new strategies in order to minimize credit losses and increase returns for our investors.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze portfolio performance using a combination of technical reporting tools (such as Oracle, Hadoop, SQL, SAS, R or Python), Excel, and Tableau
  • Summarize and present key findings to senior management
  • Develop and update dashboards to track portfolio performance and effectiveness of servicing and collections strategy
  • Develop, implement and track new servicing and collections initiatives which include multichannel contact strategy, digital collections, and post-charge-off recovery; work closely with operations, product and technology teams to ensure new initiatives are implemented accurately
  • Design and track A/B tests to help understand the effectiveness of new initiatives or test out new hypotheses
  • Evaluate new data or re-engineer the use of existing data to be used in servicing and collections strategy

About You


  • BA/BS Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, or other related field; quantitative and data-driven
  • 2+ years prior work experience as an Analyst in an MIS or similar analytical environment
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong logical and SQL querying skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal

Desired Skills:

  • Master Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, or other related field
  • Previous banking/risk management experience
