About the Role

The Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) Instructional Designer (ID) is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of instructional content in Walkme, LendingClub’s existing EPSS (Electronic Performance Support System). The DAP ID will work with the Learning & Development Design team and business partners to identify business problems and strategic solutions that can be implemented via the EPSS. The DAP ID will be responsible for analyzing and chunking content, designing and developing appropriate and succinct instructional support, and publishing content to production. Further, the DAP ID will maintain the relevancy of existing EPSS content and problem solve issues that arise with the EPSS. When available, the DAP ID will assist the rest of the Design team in the design and development of innovative and effective learning solutions for the business.

What You'll Do

  • Interact with Design team, business partners and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify business problems and ideate on EPSS based solutions
  • Conduct analysis and make learning and technical recommendations
  • Problem solve technical issues using knowledge of HTML/CSS/jQuery
  • Analyze source content for understanding and chunking
  • Use active voice and a succinct writing style for performance support
  • Create a maintenance plan and ensure content in the EPSS is current and relevant for the business
  • Use EPSS data collection tool to evaluate metrics captured on content, usability, and adoption of the platform
  • Report out on EPSS metrics to the team and business partners
  • Stay current on EPSS updates and functionality
  • Consult with Senior Instructional Designer on the needs analyses with stakeholders across various areas of the business to identify true learning needs
  • Design effective learning solutions that ensure associates are able to execute business transformation initiatives and core business strategies flawlessly

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in educational technology, instructional design, performance improvement or related field required.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS/jQuery.
  • Experience with Walkme.
  • Experience with either Articulate Storyline, Articulate Studio, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
  • 2+ years experience as an Instructional Designer.
