About Healx
Healx is a fast-growing UK startup, accelerating the discovery and development of treatments for rare diseases. There are 7,000 known rare diseases that affect 400 million people across the globe but only 5% of those conditions have approved treatments. Our mission is to discover and develop novel treatments for rare disease patients at scale through a combination of AI technology, drug discovery expertise and patient insight. Our innovative approach aims to identify existing drugs that may be repurposed and combined to treat rare diseases, meaning treatments can be found more quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively than traditional drug discovery methods allow.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Communications Manager (Maternity Cover) to join the team. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Alignment and Communications, you’ll lead marketing and communications campaigns that tell our story to our core audiences during an exciting period of company growth.

Oversee Healx’s social media accounts, managing an action-packed content calendar, responding to in-bound enquiries and co-ordinating engaging social campaigns
Support Healx’s presence at events, by working with attendees and organisers to develop presentation slides, marketing materials and to publicise our attendance
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Strong experience in the field of marketing with a track record of creating and successfully executing marketing campaigns across multiple marketing channels. A background in health-tech or life sciences would be an added bonus.
First-class copywriting skills with the ability to take complex, technical concepts and convey these in a way that makes sense to our audiences
A hands-on approach to marketing - you don’t mind getting stuck in to achieve results!
The ability to work effectively with teams across the company and to influence and motivate at all levels to execute campaigns
Excellent presentation and communication skills
The aptitude for strategic thinking - working from a specific challenge or goal towards the recommendation of an effective action plan
The ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, to prioritise and advance multiple projects simultaneously
