A New Business Representative is responsible for creating new business sales opportunities for Toast. You will focus on creating new business sales opportunities by researching restaurants in their assigned territory, creating an outreach plan and determining how restaurants can benefit from leveraging Toast’s all in one digital platform. Daily outreach consists of cold calls, emails, and social media touchpoints. After consistent high performance in the role, NBRs have the opportunity to pursue more advanced sales roles at Toast.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Generating  2+ new business sales opportunities daily 
  • Completing 50+ outreach activities daily 
  • Researching and prospecting top/new restaurants in their territory 
  • Coordinating new business meetings with Territory Account Executives and/or Inside Sales Representatives 
  • Strategizing  with District Managers on their top of funnel district priorities

  • Strong work ethic and determination to succeed 
  • Highly coachable and enjoys team collaboration
  • Naturally curious and resourceful
  • Previous Sales or Sales Internship Experience 

Special Sauce* (Nonessential Skills/Nice to Haves)

  • Collegiate Sales Competitors wanted! 
  • Restaurant Experience a plus
  • Previous phone experience preferred
