Job Summary: is seeking a Sr. Technical Accountant to join our Finance team working under the supervision of the Senior Manager of Technical Accounting. This person will help implement GAAP and related SEC financial reporting standards, establish accounting policies and procedures, and provide transaction support. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is eager to work on all facets of technical accounting, has a high attention to detail, a great attitude to work across departments, and a desire to improve current processes.


  • Research and apply GAAP reporting standards, including the implementation of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition, ASC 326 Current Expected Credit Losses, and ASC 842 Leases
  • Monitor changes in GAAP and SEC reporting and keep management informed of the impact to the company
  • Assist in establishing and documenting accounting policies and procedures that can be implemented by the business
  • Identify and document internal controls to protect assets, prevent material misstatements, and prevent fraud
  • Assist with accounting for stockholder’s equity including common and preferred stock, dividends, stock options, and stock-based compensation
  • Perform quarterly an annual impairment tests for tangible and intangible assets including goodwill
  • Work with external auditors to ensure audits are completed timely and efficiently
  • Continually look for ways to improve processes and documentation
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects
  • Additional duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years of financial reporting experience
  • Big-4 public company audit experience a plus
  • CPA preferred
  • Passion for accounting research and implementation of new guidance
  • Understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including writing technical memos
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvements
  • Outstanding organization and time management skills
  • Experience on high-growth SaaS startups preferred
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
