Job Description

As a Sr. UX Researcher on Nuvolo's Innovation Team, you will be an experienced UX Researcher who is empathetic, curious, collaborative, flexible, and able think strategically. We are a fast-growing and close-knit team, including UX Designers, Researchers, and Strategists with diverse backgrounds. UX research excellence is key to Nuvolo’s success as a leading SaaS and IWMS provider. In this role, you’ll have the executive support to embed user research and user insights in product design so you can focus on flexing your research muscles.        


As a Sr. UX Researcher your role will include:

  • Occasionally traveling to client and/or office locations when travel is safe. 
  • Owning user research for a portfolio of products (we call “a pod”).
  • Leading a cross-functional team in your pod (including UX, product, engineering, and QA) to gain a deep understanding of our clients and their respective vertical industries.
  • Working with Product Managers, UX designers, and leadership to identify research opportunities, then delivering high-quality and timely research insights to shape the product strategy and product design.
  • Facilitating workshops to gather diverse perspectives and to gain alignment in key research phases (e.g., synthesizing research data to identify opportunities).
  • Planning the research roadmap for your pod while collaborating with the other researchers to seek synergy across pods.
  • Mentoring and coaching other team members on the research methods and best practices.

This role could be a fit for you if you bring:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in UX research; 3+ years of experience working in the B2B / SaaS space. 
  • Expertise in both generative and evaluative user research using qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., one-on-one and focus group interviews, diary studies, user testing, online survey).  
  • Demonstrated ability to shape and inform product strategy and product design through user research.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify new product opportunities by connecting people problems, analytics, and organizational goals.
  • Experience with design thinking and the human-centered design approach.
  • Excellent time management and able to handle multiple projects at a time.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience in accessibility testing and evaluation such as VPAT audits.
  • Experience in product analytics using tools such as Pendo.
