Job Description

Wonolo, which stands for Work Now Locally, is disrupting the $70bn temporary staffing industry. Founded in 2014, Wonolo is a remote-first company with three regional hubs: San Francisco Bay Area, Nashville, and Toronto. We have built a tech-enabled marketplace that connects businesses in need of front-line workers on a temporary or seasonal basis, with 500,000 underemployed workers in local markets all across the country. Our mission is to empower the in-demand workforce by providing flexible and fulfilling job opportunities for everyone.
We are searching for a Revenue Strategy & Operations Program Manager who will help define a role focused on implementing national programs, leading cross-functional projects, and improving critical processes that impact all aspects of our marketplace. This is a unique opportunity to join an impactful team in a rapidly growing startup. You will be influential in building our internal operations framework and work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Account Management, Marketplace Operations, Marketing, Legal & Finance.

What You'll Do:

    • Design, lead, and implement high-impact initiatives to improve our core business KPIs
    • Identify and assess operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes end-to-end to drive efficiency across all sides of our marketplace
    • Partner with product and engineering to develop scalable, customer-centric solutions 
    • Coordinate cross-functionally to drive adoption of new business processes and systems
    • Lead program planning by defining business requirements, developing timelines, dependency mapping, resourcing, and removing obstacles to project completion
    • Analyze the ROI of our initiatives to drive continuous improvements and operational efficiency
    • Be an essential thought partner to senior leadership in developing best-in-class operational efficiency
    • Influence the growth strategy for our marketplace through forming strong relationships internally

Who You Are:

    • 3-5+ years of management consulting or start-up operations experience; hyper-growth or marketplace operations experience a plus
    • Action-oriented. Experience building and managing cross-functional, high-impact projects or programs
    • An excellent communicator. You have persuasive written and verbal communications skills across diverse functions, orgs and teams
    • Data-Driven. You develop and track success metrics across every project you implement
    • Operationally oriented. You are obsessed with driving process efficiency and improving business metrics
    • Collaborative. You have experience working cross-functionally and with Senior LeadershipProblem-Solver. You can take a complex issue and break it down into consumable problems and inventive solutions
    • Excellent excel / data management skills
    • Self-starter. Ability to autonomously identify, research, design, and build solutions
    • You demonstrate a commitment to advancing representation and inclusion

Nice to Haves:

      • Experience working with product, engineering, or other technical teams is a plus
      • Experience working with legal and deal approvals is a plus
      • SQL, CRM, and Data Visualization experience a plus (we use Salesforce and Looker)
