The Role

PlushCare is looking for an exceptional leader to join our marketing team focusing on brand marketing and communications to take our product and brand story to the next level. This is an exciting time to join PlushCare as we scale and launch new services including access to mental health professionals. The ideal candidate is a creative marketer and an expert in all things related to communications/PR, social media, content creation and optimization across channels, brand, segmentation and personalization, analytics and measurement.  

Experience in the startup ecosystem is helpful, but a passion for helping people live healthier, happier & longer lives is essential.  


Own PR/communications, Social Media, and Brand development and drive awareness of PlushCare’s brand.  
Build an authentic multi-channel brand and comms marketing strategy ensuring content is consistent in positioning and tone for new and existing services and features across functional areas, products, and channels.
Focus on the consumer and be the voice of the patient/consumer.  Develop agile consumer insight capabilities to drive marketing communications.
Evolve our brand positioning and go to market strategies for new products and features, working multi-functionally as we scale the business.
Create stories to bring to life our product, brand and culture.   Work to identify engaging pitch opportunities that are in-line with PlushCare’s positioning.  Build on-going relationships with key outlets and editors to drive coverage of PlushCare.  
Oversee social media and community growth.  Develop and deliver on acquisition and engagement goals across all social channels while launching new social channels.
Develop content that is targeted to different audiences/segments and amplify to help grow followers and engagement.
Partner with Growth, SEO and CRM teams to support and ensure messaging is consistent and on brand.
Support our Partnerships team in developing brand partnerships with sponsorships, events, and other potential opportunities
Set objective and KPIs for content quality and effectiveness and track awareness, impressions and conversions, website visits, and attribution, etc.  Participate in efforts to understand martech stack and innovation needed.


Expert level experience defining and driving B2C content and communication strategies that result in driving business and brand goals
Experience in brand management, consumer insight, brand equity, and creative expertise across social, TV, and PR.  
Extensive understanding of digital and content marketing industry trends, tactics and user behavior
Unique storyteller with proven editorial skills and able to craft content that is customer centric
Experienced managing PR as well as real-time, opportunistic content creation and distribution strategies and tactics
Experience in data analytics and leveraging multiple data sources to drive business decisions.
Experience in understanding martech and implementing new technology and scale.
Self-motivated and thrive in a startup culture and ability to operate effectively in fast-changing environments
Leadership and people management experience preferred
