Covariant is building a world class Marketing team to design and shape the future of a nascent $2.5T category - AI Robotics - and solidify our place as the market leader.
We are looking for a passionate and proven communications leader to head up global communications at Covariant. 
In this role, you’ll work closely with our founders and management team to create and execute Covariant’s communications strategy that connects with our key audiences, accelerates growth, and helps shape how AI will make a positive, fundamental and global impact for years to come. 
We’re looking for a leader who can design and implement a wide range of creative integrated programs. This person should have experience developing editorial strategies, creating both global and regional enterprise narratives, mobilizing subject matter experts, and leading/empowering teams.

To succeed in this role, you must be willing to try new things and manage numerous high-impact projects with tight deadlines. Things happen quickly, and to do great work, you need to be an effective communicator and meticulous project manager with the ability to prioritize, think on your feet, and inspire the people around you.

Core Responsibilities

    • Plan, lead, and execute our global communications strategy. Partner closely with the management team and functional leaders to support both our short and long-term business goals
    • Build strong, strategic narratives that cement the role Covariant is and will play in shaping the future of AI in the physical world 
    • Help create and manage a content engine that continuously delivers high value thought leadership content to drive awareness with key audiences and support our enterprise teams with quality leads. This includes preparing communications assets that feed the content engine (blog posts, research, press releases, Q&As, editorials, etc.)
    • Create and maintain relationships with leading AI, robotics, business, and supply chain analysts and journalists 
    • Develop, coach, and support teams with the right processes and infrastructure to have the biggest possible impact. Partner with the wider marketing team (product marketing, partner marketing, demand generation etc.) on integrated plans and campaigns
    • Represent Covariant as a spokesperson and front-line point of communication with global media, policymakers, analysts, partners, and customers
    • Support go-to-market partnerships by providing strategic counsel and execution that builds further awareness and credibility
    • Embody Covariant’s values and principles in your daily work, ensure they’re being reflected in all communications, and create the necessary processes to integrate internal and external communications 
    • Measure and report on key metrics over time

Additional Qualifications

    • We are looking for someone with real-world experience and a passion for technology. You understand the world of product, corporate, and enterprise communications and have demonstrated experience in creating measurable strategies for high-growth technology companies that deliver business objectives
    • Experience in distilling complex, technical content into simple and relevant narratives/assets
    • You are comfortable taking ideas from concept to story launch – creating themes that can play through PR, social media, executive keynotes, general marketing, and internal messaging
    • Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and superior writing ability are a must
    • A natural leader who can lead internal teams, freelancers and agencies, while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including founders and technical experts to deliver on campaigns in time
    • Outcomes and results focused. You know how to prioritize and focus on high impact things
    • You have incredible organizational skills and are able to balance the big picture with getting the important tactical things right
    • You bring with you a wealth of existing media connections across the US and Europe
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
