Job Description

Mirantis is adding a Director of Global Demand Generation to our team! Reporting directly to the CMO, the Director of Global Demand Generation, you will work cross-functionally in a dynamic and fast-paced customer acquisition through growth programs environment. You have proven effectiveness in directing global demand gen teams, creating innovative programs to engage and advance prospect conversations, being a voice of the customer, as well as advanced leverage of marketing technologies, B2B ABM, and data-driven program analytics. In strong collaboration with Sales, Sales Operations, and Marketing Operations, you will drive enterprise account penetration through enterprise-oriented programs, while continuing to grow best practices, process alignment, and marketing analytics in support of the company’s ramping global revenue growth. In addition to the enterprise motion you will play an important role in our velocity PLG strategy focused on the developer and a bottoms-up motion.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define global campaigns to deliver on the objectives of our corporate / marketing strategy and goals via actionable targets, initiatives and metrics.  
  • Layout and deliver on phased Demand Generation vision and strategy, cross-organizational capabilities, uptake of phases of MarTech, lead our Account-Based Goto Market approach across our GTM organizations, and drive predictable and data-driven focus decisions
  • Introduce new marketing ideas, channels and tactics to help scale the business
  • Manage multiple large-scale global and regional field events to execute offline / online event strategies that meet objectives (e.g., leads to Sales, awareness, advance major accounts, company and partner events)
  • Responsible for digital marketing strategy optimizing digital touchpoints to acquire, engage, and convert constantly optimizing to maximize return on marketing investment. Help drive content development, generation and management of digital tactics and programs including but not limited to websites, SEO, CRM, paid, earned, and social media. Develop and support processes to optimize non-personal channel mix
  • Collaborate across the organization to help build scalable marketing processes and integrated systems, providing a means for highly effective measurement recommendations, trend reporting and accurate forecasting
  • Establish dashboards/reports to identify the highest value campaigns and media channels to increase sales velocity, ultimately recommending media mix adjustments and optimizations
  • Keep key stakeholders across marketing, sales, and finance informed of insights on marketing performance to ensure cross-functional alignment on the best possible data-driven marketing strategy.
  • Be key marketing partner with Sales leadership to drive shared goto market objectives, approach, and programs, and continuously evaluate campaign effectiveness, integrated campaign ROI/analysis, identify segments and audiences with the biggest potential, lead scoring, lifecycle nurture effectiveness, etc.
  • Work closely with the Operations teams to manage and improve lead-to-close, land-and-expand, and customer expansion processes
  • Work closely with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to organize and disseminate material for the outbound prospecting resources
  • Build and maintain infrastructure for outbound marketing
  • Track and report on the entire marketing funnel including volume, velocity, conversion stage-to-stage, and average value; make sure funnel measures can be analyzed by key dimensions such as industry, geo, and persona.

Qualifications

  • Builder attitude and ready to make a difference, data-driven and analytical, a team builder with a strong focus on fast-paced execution
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10 to 15+ years proven work experience with an ideal mix of marketing, strategic, technical and business background
  • Experience leading Demand Generation, ABM, and Field Marketing team in B2B SaaS software or technology company
  • Ability to balance marketing strategy, vision and tactical execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional leadership skills and proven ability to attract, develop, coach and retain top talent
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue through highly effective marketing
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to build initiatives and plans around data
  • Proven success managing multiple projects and deadlines via strong planning, organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated experience designing and running an innovative marketing technology stack, including Salesforce; 6Sense (for ABM) and Pardot.
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communications skills with the ability to collaborate and build strong cross-functional relationships across all levels
  • High energy with a strong presence to present ideas and results to Executives
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, ABM tools, Marketo
