Job Description

Are you looking for a company that is rapidly growing and in need of a leader to come help pave the way for future success? Health IQ is looking for our first VP of Medicare Sales! Reporting into the head of Health IQ Sales, you will provide key leadership for the ongoing sales, agent, and business operations of B2C and agent Medicare sales. This role will require in depth experience and subject matter expertise with Medicare sales operations and compliance. Through their individual contributions and leadership of the Medicare sales operations team they will drive sales growth, improved operational processes, and deliver effective agent support. 

What will you be doing?

  • Lead a remote sales force of agents that span across the country
  • Provide leadership and support for the ongoing Medicare carrier relationship responsible for both tactical operations and business improvements.
  • Develop and lead Health IQ’s revenue generation and business development strategy and efforts
  • Measure and analyze current revenue streams, offerings, and relationships to optimize our business growth and revenue strategy
  • Responsibility to develop, enhance, and maintain robust policies and procedures related to Medicare sales and operations.
  • Lead the roll-out of required/updated sales practices, compliance, technology/systems or other processes to the agent force.
  • Monitor and report on key industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the operational efficiency and sales performance.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support sales processes, training, quality reviews, and sales & marketing activities.
  • Provide support for review and implementation new Medicare partnerships and third-party technology tools

Education and Experience:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or operations.
  • Typically requires prior experience in people management.
  • Proven knowledge and expertise of Medicare sales and marketing procedures
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering a message appropriately for a given audience including experience presenting recommendations to senior management.
