Job Description
The Operations team manages our worldwide distribution network and is responsible for authenticating our sneakers, fulfilling orders and ensuring on-time delivery to buyers. Through our technological innovation and logistical efficiency, you will join a team that prides itself on being the most trusted marketplace in the industry while shipping and processing tens of millions of products for our global buyers and sellers.
If hired, you will be employed by a third party and assigned to GOAT.
In this role you will:
- Provide monthly labor and supply planning for all EMEA 3PL facilities, providing actuals against projections for sales
- Create and manage KPIs and SLA’s that are communicated and coached to daily
- Communicate with HQ on needs, challenges and successes
- Identity cost savings and continuously improve processes
- Manage OpEx to budget, working with internal and external leadership teams to align on any major purchases, additional spends, or change in expense
- Provide guidance to operational managers to achieve established standards of service, quality, accuracy and productivity
- Create a positive and motivated work environment through real time and specific feedback that is constructive and actionable
- Ensure that operational plans are executed on-time, on-budget and on-quality
- Internal and external partners/stakeholders are kept well informed and coordinated across functions
- Support new 3PL warehouse set up, including and not limited to building preparation, supply and hardware planning, training, training implementation, SLA and standards compliance, and building excellent partnerships
We are looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a client relationship role with a 3PL
- Proven ability to learn quickly about operational systems, technologies, and processes to make intelligent business choices
- Excellent problem solving
- Superb leadership skills; the ability to have difficult conversations with colleagues, those above you and below you
- Must be able to work autonomously as a self-starter, depending on oneself to complete goals and understand when escalation of issues is necessary
- Ability to break down complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions
- Sound understanding of material handling procedures, order fulfillment systems, and assess performance metrics
- Positive attitude with the ability to guide a team, handle multiple tasks, and work on projects simultaneously in a timely and efficient manner
