Job Description

Vedere Bio II, Inc. (Vedere) is a stealth-stage company being incubated at Atlas Ventures, which is also one of the Company’s investors.  Vedere seeks an ambitious and highly motivated individual to support the CMC team, and contribute to routine analytical development needs, as we execute against our plan to become THE leading gene therapy vision restoration company. Working with us, you will have the opportunity to bring the light to patients, by delivering transformative genotype-agnostic therapies for vision restoration. If you are looking to join, build and grow a driven group that has each other’s backs, showing up each day to make transformational change in patients’ lives, please send your CV and cover letter. We want to make an impact in patient lives with you!

In your role, you will join the Analytical Development group and support routine analytical testing of research and process development samples. This highly cross functional role involves running a panel of assays on a weekly basis and will help an eager candidate to form a solid molecular biological skillset. A strong candidate will support operations and development of controls and standards. This includes troubleshooting and optimization investigations, data analysis, and ELN documentation of executed experiments in a timely manner. Success indicators are high levels of organization, ability to multitask, and a strong desire to learn and develop as a scientist.

We are a tight-knit, integrated team that places a high importance on doing the best work at the right time with intellectual bravery. If you are a self-starter, mature in your understanding of best-in-class laboratory work, and confident in your ability to identify the most important work to be done right now, we would love to speak with you. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced startup focused on gene therapies and other modalities to develop vision restoration and vision preservation therapies for blind patients around the globe.
