The Role

This role will be a remote role - you can work from anywhere in the world, from the comforts of your home!

You’ll have a front seat experience in impacting women across the globe through fashion and data.

You will play a pivotal role in championing a data-driven approach in our decision-making. From data analytics solutions, insight generation to data governance, you prioritize and influence data adoption across the company. You’re responsible for continuously raising the standards of our overall analytics capabilities and reporting portfolio. In addition, you implement best-practices and standardisation of our analytics workflow and act as a mentor for our data analysts.

Main Responsibilities:

OKRs & actionable insights

  • Define performance metrics, targets and ensure alignment across the company
  • Design, build and maintain user-friendly dashboards for tracking OKRs
  • Coordinate on-going performance reviews (e.g. weekly and quarterly) within the analytics team to evaluate business health, identify areas for deep-dive and ensure aligned and effective sharing of on-going business recommendations from the data team to management and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with teams (e.g. Finance) for performance updates (monthly, quarterly)
  • Deep-dive to analyze large data sets (structured and unstructured), interpret patterns, highlight business opportunities areas of weaknesses
  • Share actionable insights on an on-going basis. Plan and coordinate new projects for pilots
  • Design and execute analytics solutions. Translate vaguely defined business problems to clearly defined technical requirements. Design and execute efficient logical solutions (ranging from reporting, diagnostic analytics to prescriptive analytics)
  • Collaborate with functional teams to prioritize and solve business problems e.g. define problem, data collection requirements, transformation and execution of final solution, and present insights effectively through data storytelling to inspire action
  • Manage analytics projects from ideation to delivery involving multiple stakeholders

Research & Market intelligence

  • Research and evaluate industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for Love, Bonito
  • Prepare and organize periodic (e.g. quarterly) sharing sessions and material on industry trends and provide management with actionable recommendations
  • Maintain and refine our market prioritization framework from both a quantitative and qualitative perspective and evaluate expansion opportunities & risks
  • Stay in tune with regional and global consumer trends, evaluate its relevance to Love, Bonito and help us “stays ahead of the curve”
  • Translate industry insights into the Love, Bonito context and work alongside fellow data team members and business stakeholders to evaluate new strategic opportunities and initiate POCs

Data culture

  • Create, maintain and improve our overall analytics portfolio. Establishing robust structure, governance and alignment across data usage and reporting to ensure effective usage
  • Develop, maintain and track usage of our analytics solutions and reporting portfolio to ensure dashboard reports are effectively leveraged for the purpose it’s developed
  • Drive overall company trust, understanding and usage of data by organizing learning sessions
  • Work closely with different business stakeholders including our regional teams to leverage HQ data best practices
  • You’re a key contributor to the development of our data infrastructure and collaborate closely with our data engineers on a day to day basis. Examples of this include:
    • Prioritize new data source integration and ensure final implementation meets business and analytics requirements
    • Create impeccable and user-friendly documentation for data sources across the company
    • Validate data tables in data warehouse, refine logic and data transformation, and build aggregation tables to provide seamless reporting and data access across the business

Qualifications & Experience

Technical competence and experience to perform advanced analytics independently, efficiently and mentoring junior members of the team.

  • Highly proficient in SQL and familiar with Python for analytics and machine learning contexts
  • Knowledge in statistical methods to solve business problems
  • Ability to collect, clean, transform and analyse large amounts of data efficiently (structured and unstructured) with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge and experience with data visualization tools, preferably Tableau and Metabase
  • Experience in data warehouse development, especially AWS Redshift, will be advantageous.
  • Experience with website tracking, especially GTM and Google Analytics would be advantageous
  • Strong interest and preferably direct experience with e-commerce and retail
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, BA/BS or Master's degree with an emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering)
