We are looking for a highly skilled email marketer with stellar writing skills and a conversion-focused approach to pen copy and conceptualize email campaigns consistent with the organization’s goals. 

What you’ll do: Core Responsibilities

  • Understand audience segmentation and work closely with the CRM team to refine segmentation on a campaign to campaign basis
  • Identify messaging hooks for the identified segments accordingly.
  • Create crisp, effective email copy that resonates with the brand voice and the visual language of the communication piece, while adhering to the text specifications of different media.
  • Analyze campaign performance, draw insights and actively test communication to boost performance
  • Conduct product and market research to understand product features, audience’s pain points, and the language they use to describe their needs and problems.
  • Brainstorm pitch, visual and copy ideas with the other members of the product and creative team.
  • Present initial ideas covering a variety of communication themes.
  • Revise copy based on internal feedback and copy performance.
  • Ensure factual and grammatical accuracy in all copywriting.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and adapt them to come up with fresh copy ideas.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience as an email/product writer for a B2B / B2C organization.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to write in a range of voices and styles
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in marketing, mass communication, English literature, or design/creative studies
  • Strong conceptual skills and expertise in typography and the use of photography
