We’re looking for a Narcotics Pharmacy Technician to join our PharmScript team within our Floor Technician department. In this role, you’ll assist the Pharmacist with labeling, filling, preparing, compounding, dispensing, organizing, quality, and inventory.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is an effective communicator. They are always a team player, eager to jump in where needed and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy and needs of customers.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Assisting the Pharmacist with labeling and filling prescriptions
•    Accurately preparing prescriptions under the Pharmacist’s supervision
•    Compounding medications (Creams/Ointments/Suspensions)
•    Packaging Rx labels using Frameworks system
•    Packaging medications in bottles or bingo cards for dispensing and for delivery
•    Organizing the pharmacy shelves (Drugs, supplies, etc.)
•    Removing out of date items from inventory/shelves

Qualifications:
•    High school diploma or GED is required
•    Able to work independently as well as in a diverse, team environment
•    Able to stand on feet for 8 hours
•    Pharmacy Technician educational course work preferred
•    Reliable, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
•    Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor
•    Registered technician or registration should be in the process in applicable state
•    One year or more of Long Term Care or Retail pharmacy experience preferred but not necessary
