Zeta Identity Graph platform, which captures billions of behavioral, demographic, environmental, and transactional signals, for people-based marketing. As part of this team, the director of strategic projects will have a deep understanding of our data assets, familiarity with our technologies/platform and good knowledge of our various business units and help coordinate efforts to deliver solutions to clients, compile, schedule and execute internal and external product roadmaps and help devise and deliver strategic projects that improve the company’s bottom line and grow our data assets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Director of Strategic Projects, your responsibilities will include:
- Interface with product and engineering teams to ensure projects are on track, remove blockers, help make decisions to guide projects to outcomes needed for the business
- Coordinate between technical and operational teams to help execute solutions for clients that involve data, automation and technology
- Understand our vast data sets and their main business uses and how to query them accurately to answer business questions or identify opportunities for improved data/data derivatives
- Manage a pipeline of prioritized initiatives for each business unit and help keep teams focused on most impactful projects
- File and manage tickets/stories to track initiatives and push efforts forward to resolution or disposition
REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for exceptional talent with attention to details and a solid foundation in data, automation and technology. The candidate will have had at least 3 years of experience leading multiple programs to business success
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years’ experience managing dozens of projects or multiple programs
- Ability to initiate, influence and drive projects to completion with minimal direction
- Foundational understanding of big data, data management, data processing technologies
- Strong written and oral communication skills. Comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders
- Pragmatic decision maker, ability to motivate, influence and push people to drive outcomes
- Great project management systems and processes to manage several projects and workstreams across teams simultaneously
- Focus on accomplishing business goals as opposed to progress on technical projects
IDEAL CANDIDATE: Understand business objectives, able to devise a solution with available technical and non-technical resources and organize and effectively lead initiatives to completion to achieve expected business outcomes expeditiously.
